It appears to me that Dr. Steiner has carried the banner for Radical Therapy/Psychiatry.  He continues to teach and write.  His current work is on "Emotional Literacy":
1. Knowing what feelings we have, how strongly and why.
2. Caringly recognizing other people's emotions, their strength and reasons.
3. Developing the love-centered ability to express or hold back our feelings so as to enhance the quality of our lives and the quality of life of those around us.

I see this new contribution as the current evolution of the kind of personal work that goes on in a problem-solving group.

Definition:
It has been argued that psychotherapy may be a means of oppression in that its aim is to assist the individual in adjusting to the status quo when in fact it is the status quo that should change. Radical therapy uses psychiatry as a force for liberation, taking the position that alienation is the result of oppression and that by discovering the reason for the alienation the individual will grow in self-knowledge.
